Block Paving in Hampshire

Here’s a patio project which Yew Tree Landscapes completed in Alton. As we knew that everything had to be kept in with the older style of the property, we decided to use buff bend slabs.

The slabs had to be cut so they curved around to match in with the existing walls. The steps had to have the old slabs taken off and replaced with new slabs, pointed in using buff marshalls 24/7 pointing in compound. Yew Tree Landscapes undertook a project in Petersfield and transformed customers patio, by laying Rosemount slabs. The area was completely dug out to a depth of 6-7 inches, soil & rubble taken away and disposed of. We spread over and compacted 3-4 inches of scalpings, laid the slabs on a solid bed of wet mix concrete and pointed in with mushroom coloured easy joint pointing in compound. Granite edging blocks beautifully finished off the outside edge of the patio. Once patio work was complete we were asked to erect the 3ft high panel fencing and make the shed base ready for the customer to have her shed delivered and put in place.
